One of our menagerie, Hickory, passed peacefully in his sleep this morning. He is now cage free and without pain, scampering and chattering away! I enjoyed being his friend and care giver. He never did like the running wheel, but he loved people attention and scampering up the sides to his favorite sleeping pouch, fresh peas and watermelon to eat! He talked in his sleep as I worked in my office and it was so cute!
