July Slides By

July has sizzled by and it was fun!  Traveled to Tendoy/Salmon and spent time with friends. Idaho City, and Goddess Fest were great too.

I would like to express my gratitude and honored Thanks to all the people I have been meeting this Spring and Summer and requesting readings.  It is creating those contacts and the few moments we spend, in such indepth review, that I always hope creates a lasting impression, or a laugh to reflect upon.  That it generates the positive idea or reminder needed of what they were seeking. 

And we move into the next phase of our summer, August, the starting of the season of harvesting.  The rains of Spring and sun of Summer is now reaping all that has been sown.  From precious Earth we have all that is growing nourished by time and elements.  The flowers are blooming encouraging us on our paths and giving us visions of colours;  the leaves are on full branches and stretching to the light.  Bending on breezes and seeping the dew of the mornings.  

Children play and enjoy the last few weeks of their time off from school but with an anticipation of the next class year.  Back to the routine and seeing friends, making new friends and the rythym of education.

Getting to the mountains has reminded me of the silence I so enjoy when I am there.  There is much to listen to in the silence of nature.  I also enjoy the grass and flowers of my yard, the two bean plants that sprouted on their own, the tomatoes that are ripening as are the blackberries.  I hear the squirrels chatter at me to come fill the house dish with their peanuts and sunflower seeds.   The shade tree gives cool respite from the sun and offers me a place to relax.   

I also give great appreciation and thanks to Todd who has helped me at every booth with setting up my canopy, loading and unloading, driving the longer distances.   It is such a help and assist! 

July 27 2008 also passed as the 66th anniversary of my parents.  We enjoyed an evening dinner together and I got great pictures of them enjoying huge and I mean really big  ice cream floats the restaurant brought them in celebration and as a gift. Mom had strawberry and Dad had orange.  They really enjoyed them!
