Dec 1 Already ! ?

Posted on Dec 1st, 2008 by Gaile : Intuitve,Psychic Medium& Grand Gal Gaile

Doesn't seem like it should be time for the month of December yet.  As we go through each week, busy from day to day we little realise how quickly it actually passes.  One by one, it is Monday to Monday
Week to Week then Month to Month and voila!  A whole year again.
We have the expression take time.  If you take time, where are you taking it from and taking it to?  There is Time in a Bottle; does it say "drink me"?
Time has a Season, Time ticks, time flies when having fun and time stands still in suspense or drama.  There can still be time or it is out of time. We have Time on our hands, (does it wash off? Is it sticky or does it hang on somehow?) Time runs out, and then is Time gone by, never to be recaptured but can be then be Good Ol' Times, bad times or time best forgotten.   You can manage time or lose track of time.  Is my time the same time you have when have time?
It is good to realise that time is only a flash of moments strung together in chains of increments we have designated. It is to available to us and we then choose how to live in the most of each moment whether in activity, relaxation, wellness and a vast other venues.

But, letting time pass unnoticed is so easy to do.  It is there, and sometimes seems to last forever if we are waiting for something special then gone in a blur.

I have rambled along a track of lost time and realise time is short.  Enjoy the time of your life!

Winter So(u)lstice

Posted on Dec 21st, 2008 by Gaile : Intuitve,Psychic Medium& Grand Gal Gaile
It comes now, the slowly transition of short days to longer days.  The re-birthing of light from the dark womb of deep winter.  It is a gift of the season transformations.  I love being in an area that there are actual 4 distinct seasons to experience.

Gifting comes from the heart and love - not the commercial merchandising where the words are in bold huge letters GIFTS - BUY - HAPPY
Not really.  It is the Love behind a gift  that makes a gift felt.  A gift is not given out of conditional specifications. Things that come from just doing because are not as special.  The energy around is felt.
Not giving matters too.  I have realised that there is a specific pleasure and satisfaction that comes from an actual box wrapped in ribbons and bows, opening it and knowing it is for you.  Whether you really appreciate the gift item itself, that action of anticipation and opening it is a real emotion or even a combination of several.  It is an experience and tittilating.
Too many boxes however I think that excitement is lessened.  Too many boxes and the experience ends up overwhelming and dulls appreciation.  There is alot to be said for less is better.  But only when the expectations have been learned to be tempered.  Overindulgence  doesn't make up for what is missing or bring acceptance, for anything thing.  But, I speak from being somewhat non materialistic and not comfortable with much of what others view as luxury  and that being affluent is something required.
So my opinion is developed from my life experiences and what I perceive within my own realm of thoughts.  (As most opinions are).

Give the Gift of Laughter

Posted on Dec 23rd, 2008 by Gaile : Intuitve,Psychic Medium& Grand Gal Gaile

Give the Gift of Laughter   How easy is that!  Laughter heals, Laughter is contagious, Laughter is a sharing of time and gleeful energy.  It is inexpensive and worth multiple fortunes!
No shopping no wrapping required.   Make a silly face.  Tell a funny joke or quip but of course, mind your manners by choosing jokes appropriate to the person's sense of humor!

Mean teasing is not acceptable nor unexpected scaring the shoes off of someone.  Those don't count as funny.    But bringing about a good hilarious belly laugh, a titter or chuckle are all good exersize and enlightens the soul.   Even a quiet smile has warmth and vitality but the sound of laughter rings like bells!  Like the magic in Frosty's hat, there is something magical in children's laughter.  If you are the type to attempt slapstick humor like slipping on a banana peel, just be careful and wrap a pillow on your backside!

It makes everyone feel better to hear laughter, create laughter and do the laughing.  It dusts away the cobwebs, inspires movement and action that pull one out of a slump.
Remember the song I love to Laugh from Mary Poppins!    Have Fun in Cheerful Sharing!
