Have a Happy Thanksgiving
Good day and Hello HowdyDo!
Just wanted to let you know and I am getting the word out, that we are planning a very quiet and easy Holiday Season. Two choices available - no actual present exchange or a $5.00 minimum.
::::: sliding my little plush velvet and ribbons soapbox to the center of the page... clearing throat.....::::::
The Holiday Season continues now with Thanksgiving next week and that is what it means - Thanks Giving (and I give great thanks to John and Kelly who are having the dinner day of Thanksgiving at their home this year) and keeps going until it seems to wrap up with the great expectations and new blessings that the switch to 2008 brings in January! I feel that the commercialization of the holidays has gotten out of hand; that Love for one another and Spirit have been overshadowed, and therefore we will strive to lessen our participation in such and return to traditional sentiments.
Aha! and Thank you!
::::: stepping off my little plush velvet and ribbons soapbox ... setting it aside::::::
:::: with a wink and whispering "that even though that all sounds much more noble and wondrous than we can't really afford it, we really do feel there is alot of hypocrisy afoot in forced gift giving. Unexpected gifts are much more fun!
A gift of a hug and a "love ya" given with absolute heartfelt truth, wrapped in honor and respect is the greatest and most cherished. Yes indeedy!
Happy Thanksgiving
